The actress said “everyday soaps were a culture shock for her.” Asked about her absence from the small screen, she said she hadn’t thought about quitting TV shows. The actress said, “TV is where actors earn. I won’t quit it. Daily soap operas are where you earn your daily paycheck and make money. Then you can easily do something you care about.”

A few years ago, Neena Kulkarni starred in a short film titled

with Kajol in the lead role. Her performance caught everyone’s attention and since then the actress has developed her interest in OTT projects. For the uninitiated, she had also featured in the Breathe web series.
